Blue Ridge Mountains (from Mt. Mitchell)

This view is from Mt. Michell, the highest altitude point in the U.S. east of the Mississippi River. The sfumato of the nearby greens blending into the blues at a distance is very unique. It is easy to see why they were named “Blue Ridge Mountains”.
